Isn't it IRONIC? Don't you think!? and The Veil!

My mom and aunt Steph will get a kick out of this one... and possibly everyone else!
As most of you know I am not the cleanest person. I have gotten WAY better upon the event of my marriage to Ray, who tends to be a bit of a clean freak. Also our apartment isn't really that big so any amount of clutter makes our apartment look like a pig pen. However, we do tend to let it get out of hand from time to time... Mostly because of me and my little projects and my lack of enthusiasm for cleaning when I could be working on those projects! haha ... anyways, I had intended to at least tidy up all my little messes before running off to Women's Conference for 2 days. However, It didn't happen. Go figure. So on my way out of the door Thursday morning I left Ray this little note:

needless to say, Ray did not get this not. Wanna know why? Well, I will show you! Here is a picture a little further out so you can get a little perspective.

and a little further...

and add a messy kitchen bar.

Now, this is not the whole of the mess but don't you find it ironically funny that he didnt find the note!? you can barely see it!! haha we had a good laugh about that at womens conference when I asked Ray if he got my note and he told me that he hadn't haha. anyways... it still looks like that today.. only worse haha I have been working on one of my projects and I have been so into it that I havent even left the house for a couple days! But I am SOOOO..... proud of it!

I have been making my sister Nicole's wedding veil! Her bridals are scheduled for the last of this month and I wanted to get started unless it took me forever to finish! but, this veil took me about the same time it took to make the other two veils I made! I love this veil and I hope she does too!

Here is a closer view

and close...

And closer to see the detail! I beaded this cute flower ribbon and put pearls and rhinestones and seed beads!

and up the sides I sewed on the beaded ribbon

and on the top, where I sewed the tulle on the comb I put pearls and crystals!

sorry about the far away pictures. I was too lazy to make them any better!
But there it is! It is finished and now I should go clean up all my messes! :)  I actually really like making veils. It is pretty fun! I just sat on the couch or on the floor and sewed and beaded and watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy! It was fun!

Women's Conference

So this last week was BYU's Women's Conference and I got to go with my aunt Steph and my mommy! :)
 It was pretty fun!

And on thursday night they had this service stuff that was my favorite part!! we got to make cute little tutus for little girls in the cancer center at primary childrens and for little girls in homeless shelters! they were so fun to make and so cute!
here is me in the process of making one... oh wait jk.. that is the finished product haha

here is me being a dork....

The lady that was taking pictures took this of us and I am going to LAUGH it it makes it to the website in a couple weeks.... or the program for next year haha .... oh dear..

here is the table for the finished tutus. this is awesome because we were some of the first to make a tutu so I am sure there were like twice this or maybe even triple this amount wen the night was over!!

We next went on to the fairy wands! we only got to tie the big purple ribbon on but they were so cute! and they matched our tutus we made!!  I better be having a baby girl first! so i can make cute tutus and fairy wands for them! (and NO I am not prego right now so this is not an announcement.. just a statement!)

anyways, it was a fun experience and I will probably do it again next year!  you learn so much! Thanks Mom for taking me with you! It was fun!

So, enjoy! or not... your choice!

I have finally decided......

I have finally decided that I SUCK at life. No matter what I do I never get it right. I am having the hardest time with life right now haha. No matter what I do someone ALWAYS gets hurt. I can't even find out who I really am and what I want to do with my life without making someone hate me or be really hurt by what I did. Why?!?!?! I mean really!?  Here I am in my little bubble in Sandy, not doing anything, EVER, and like every other week I find out that I have seriously offended someone or really hurt their feelings! I don't  understand.  I should become even more of a hermit than I already am (which is sad because I am a serious hermit.) and never leave my house and never talk to anyone and maybe that would solve the problem. Although I would probably kill myself after a little while of boredom and insane-ness.

The worst part of it all is that I seriously just sit at my house and try to entertain myself. It sucks that on top of it all I have to walk around on egg shells trying not to hurt everyone's feelings. How on earth do I do that?! Someone PLEASE tell me because I am sick of feeling like I cant go anywhere or say anything without making someone mad at me. I am sorry to all those people that I have offended or whatever. I can honestly say that I didnt mean to. I probably don't even know about it, which has been the case for the last like 3 instances that have broken out.

on a lighter note... I graduated from nail school!
Ya wanna know the best part about nail school? We all had to be around each other for sooooo... many hours everyday that we all had to be friends because it would be so miserable if we all hated each other! Yeah, I didnt particularly like all of the girls but I sucked it up and it made life so much easier!  It was a good 2 months!
To become a nail technician  you have to take a butt load of tests... 4 to be exact.  2 written and 2 practical.
on the first set of tests (which were given by the school) I as so nervous, I passed of course haha jk i got an 87% on the writte (yeah i sucked it up) and a 100% on the practical!! anyway, when I got home I started taking apart my little kit full of stuff and after being home for like a half hour I noticed these:

haha it's not like these beautiful flowers are small or anything! they were actually really big! and I totally didnt even notice them!  my husband is so sweet! he bought me flowers to wish me luck on my tests! sometime i think he has more faith in me than I ever do!  He is amazing and I am so glad I have him in my life! Here are some more pictures of the flower!
haha this was the best part of the whole thing! The flowers were actually named "Hot Princess"! I got a kick out of that one!

This was the cute note he left with the flowers!

They made our house a little more lively! (dont mind the messy house... pretend its clean ;) )

Here is my little certificate of competion! kinda like a "diploma" only I think the license is more like the diploma... since you cant practice without it.... but oh well here is a bigger picture! its pretty awesome haha jk
and here is my state license! (dont mind my crazy hair... it needs a serious chopping)  It's pretty awesome I know... I can hardly contain myself haha jk... I havent used it yet... I need to find me a job but I am too dang lazy ;)  jk I just need to get out of my hermit mode but when I do I offend someone so I will just sit here in my bubble and pretend like I have a life.

The end....
Enjoy, or not. Your choice.

What to do!?!?

Ok... So I started nail school to find something I like doing.  However, in the process I have found something besides nails that I am pretty good at and I actually enjoy! Yep! You guessed it! Business Cards!
I dont know everything about it obviously but I don't think I am too bad at it! It all started when we and the girls at school had to have business cards for our "Senior Projects" for nail school graduation haha (yeah they call us the "seniors" although we have only been there for a total of 2 months haha). anyways, it all REALLY started when I took the business cards that I made for my project to school. and here they are!
Here is the front! (Now keep in mind I won't really be using these. I just wanted business cards that matched my whole project which was apple themed!)

and here is the back! arent they super cute!?
anyways... so I showed all the girls in my class and they all loved them! Then my friend Melissa asked if I would help her with her senior project because I have so much scrapbooking stuff (thanks to my mom).
She wanted her business card to mach her project too so this is what I came up with!
Here is the front!
 and here is the back!

and then after all the girls saw Melissa's EVERYONE wanted one haha! It is actually pretty enjoyable for me to make them! I like doing things like that! So, Here are the rest of the ones that I have made.
Here are Maggies!

And Maya's:

 And Corina's:

And Christina's:
(I think hers are one of my favorites!)

And then I was having so much fun that I made these ones too!
They weren't made for anyone in mind but I think they are kinda cute! I like the silhouette!

So there it is!! I was thinking if I ever made a business card for myself I would have NO clue what to put on it!! I like doing so many things that I couldnt have a card for everything!  I want to get back into Photography and maybe start taking wedding pictures and making money with that. I also now do nails.... and I make some pretty cute wedding veils... and I want to do it all but what would my company's name be!?!? I cant just pick one either... :( anyways... I will keep thinking about that haha and maybe one day I will figure it out!  In the mean time, If anyone knows anyone who needs business cards, a wedding veil, or their nails done you will know who to call! :)

Anyways, Enjoy!
or not!

It's about dang time!

So I haven't posted in pretty much forever... but I don't think it matters because I doubt anyone even reads my blog so its all good!  This might be a long post so I guess its good that no one but me even reads this blog!

First off, Me and Ray got our first Christmas tree! :)

Here is the "finished" product... we just put lights and bulbs and candy caneson but oh well haha it is simple and we liked it! But we went out of town one weekend and it kinda died so like 2 weeks after we got it the needles were hard and it no longer smelled good... it just left needles everywhere. So maybe next year we will have a fake one..?

Next, It has been a whole year (plus some now that its march!) since we got engaged :)
And after being married for 9 months I took some pictures of our apartment but I only got the kitchen and dining room.. those were the only ones that were clean enough to document! more to come later maybe!

Then, I started nail school and Color My Nails School of Nail Technology at the beginning of February! It is pretty fun! I am still learning and trying to get the hang of it but it gets me out of the house and I have been making friends! its about dang time! I am sick of being friendless! but here are some of the nails I have done! I have done way more but they have mostly been on my mani hand! her name is Mandi the Mani and we play alot! :)

Here is me and Nicole when she came to my school! her nails were pretty cute!
Here is me in the process.. we chatted a lot so it took me so long to get them done!
And... drum roll please..... Here is the finished product!
they were pretty cute if I do say so myself! they even have a cute heart on the ring fingers too but you cant really see it in this picture!

Here is a perfect set I did a couple Saturdays ago... I was amazed at myself... THE ROCKED!!

And here is a set of SERIOUSLY UGLY LONG sculptured nails I did. They look good technically but they are grossly long... this lady was kinda weird and wanted super long nails... and the color she picked was totally see through but hey some people like those kinds of things I guess!

anyways.... meet Mandy the Mani! She is my friend and we play every day and we are friends. These were the nails I did on her that looked way good. My instructors are amazed at my talent (sometimes haha)

AND now for the MOST EXCITING NEWS EVER!!!!!!!!
We finally bought a new car! and we love it! It is a Mazda Speed3 and it is pretty!
its fast and very roomy! we love it!

anyways... so that is what has been going on... in a nut shell anyways! Ray is still teaching and trying to get it all together! He is a great teacher and figure out his teaching style and stuff (at least that is what he tells me!) We are happy and all is going so good! :)

So that is all! The End!
Enjoy... or not! Your choice!
